  • Re-roofing and structural repairs to a historic Oxfordshire college
  • Restoration and reuse of original stone slates and leadwork
  • Thermal upgrades including hemp insulation and vacuum secondary glazing
  • Careful repair of original oak dormer windows
This project comprised the re-roofing, insulation and structural repairs of a renowned Oxfordshire College.
Most of the original stone slates were restored and reused, ensuring the college’s unwavering historic charm remained upheld. New hemp insulation upgraded the thermal performance of the roofing.

Existing lead downpipes and hoppers were meticulously restored. Original oak dormer windows were sensitively repaired on-site, retaining their original character. To further improve the college’s thermal efficiency, secondary glazing was installed throughout the top-floor bedrooms using ‘Fineo Heritage’ vacuum glass.
