  • Heritage repairs and bespoke landscaping
Rackley’s Farm was transformed from a former barn and ancillary agricultural buildings into a refined wedding venue, carefully balancing new interventions with historic character. The main barn was extended with a bespoke oak frame addition and oak-framed lean-to with expansive glazing, while a rear extension introduced a basement housing a commercial kitchen and guest facilities.
Additional works included new ancillary buildings providing catering and registrar offices, a bridal suite and meeting room. Heritage-sensitive repairs incorporated reclaimed roof tiles, underpinning of existing walls and the retention of original brick and flint fabric. The surrounding landscape was thoughtfully crafted, including an entrance road finished in “autumn gold” to reflect the site’s rural setting and the client’s vision.
