Executed in an occupied laboratory, Kingerlee stripped out building services and fabric from the basement, part of the first floor and the roof plant room of the NDM building.

Key activities included swapping out an existing air handling unit, associated pipework and controls in the roof plant room. Further works involved the installation of twelve new fume cupboards to a new Chemistry Laboratory on Level 1 and the reconfiguration of the basement space and M&E services to provide primary and secondary laboratory space with complex pressure regimes.
