Works to Tanners Pool included a ground floor extension to the east elevation forming a new kitchen and a further two-storey extension to the south elevation, this includes a recreation room to the ground floor and a master bedroom en-suite to the first floor. The works also contained extensive joinery supplied by Kingerlee Joinery to the Boot, Library and feature staircase.

New mechanical and electrical installations were installed throughout the property and for the first time the house is now on the mains sewer, this involved a road closure through the village and was completed within the time frame.  

Contiguous piling faced with stonework retained the ground to the east of the house and new lawns laid set the house off.
