The re-modelling and extension to St John's College Senior Common room provided a significant challenge to the Construction and Design Teams both in terms of materials selection and buildability.

The existing listed building was also refurbished with everyday challenges to overcome including, listed building/heritage issues, archaeology, planning consents and compliance with building regulations.

The completed £5M project provides an extensive kitchen facility, hot/cold servery areas, luncheon room, sitting rooms, reception, guest bedrooms, lifts and circulation spaces.
