Works included a complete mechanical and electrical refit, re-roofing to all levels, extensions to the rear and the side of the property and underpinning to the basement. New Joinery cupboards were fitted to the reception room and study. A new kitchen was fitted to the rear of the property.
The party wall side of the property was demolished on the ground, first and second-floor levels and a new steel-framed extension was introduced to add internal area to the property. This steel framework was cited on new foundations that incorporated a structural steel ring beam and then built around with brickwork to match the existing building, new floor joists were fitted to create the additional floor spaces.
The ground floor existing extension was demolished which involved a complex temporary works scheme where the rear of the property was completely supported on large steel needles. A larger extension was built to incorporate the new kitchen/dining area, including underfloor heating, new roof lights and a kitchen with French doors to the rear.
The basement was completely underpinned with a new concrete floor slab, this was then damp-proofed fully and plastered to create a new utility room and bedroom. New utility supplies were also introduced into the property via the basement.
