This fast-track project for the Physical and
Theoretical Chemistry Laboratory (PTCL),
University of Oxford, involved a £1.3 million laboratory refurbishment delivered within a 14-week programme. The scheme provided new wet and dry chemistry laboratories together with an associated write-up area.

The works comprised a full strip-out of
the existing laboratory and the creation of
four distinct laboratory spaces, designed
to function flexibly as wet and dry labs,
incorporating designated clean and dirty
zones and a dedicated write-up room.

Additional works included the installation of two fume cupboards and one walk-in fume cupboard, application of a levelling screed, installation of new anti-slip vinyl flooring, comprehensive mechanical and electrical services upgrades, and new finishes and decorations throughout.
