April is Stress Awareness Month and at Kingerlee we recognise that the construction industry can, at times, be a stressful environment to work in. Throughout this month our Leadership and Senior Management teams have been delivering ‘take a break’ parcels to their team members. These parcels contain a hot drink, biscuits and an information card for The Lighthouse Club, a charity that, a charity that supports members of the construction industry and their families. The parcels are there to encourage a conversation about stress levels and workload and provide information on tools for managing this. While stress is a common experience in the workplace, it is important to address it before it becomes uncontrollable and begins to impact on well-being.
