19/06/15 - Trapezoidal Louvres Lifted Into Place At Abingdon School

The Trapezoidal louvres manufactured in Douglas Fir by Kingerlee Joinery are now being installed at our project at the new Abingdon School Science Centre.
The largest unit stands over 5m high and forms the rain screen cladding to the gable ends of the project.
Each panel is lifted using a spreader beam, drop chain and shackle arrangement onto the eyebolts fixed to the outer frame of the louvre.
