This multimillion-pound scheme delivered a substantial leisure facility within a private estate in Bedfordshire.

Constructed around a large-span concrete frame, the building features burnt timber cladding and expansive glazed façades, while internally polished plaster finishes and concrete floors complement the structural detailing.

The facility accommodates a swimming pool, treatment rooms, tennis court, car workshop, exhibition space and helicopter hangar.

Sustainable elements were integrated,
including a green roof, the reuse of excavated materials, and a ground-source heat recovery system. The leisure building was nestled into the ground and thoughtfully landscaped to
accommodate a ramped car entrance and a helicopter landing pad.
