Pembroke College, Oxford

This new £18m development for Pembroke College, Oxford includes state-of-the-art facilities, such as a 170-seat multi-purpose auditorium, an art gallery, a new cafe, teaching and function rooms, all set around two new quadrangles.

The new complex is an integral part of Pembroke's main site with an elegant footbridge over Brewer Street connecting it directly to the College's Chapel Quad.
The new buildings, in the heart of Oxford, use traditional materials in a modern context and help to re-draw the appearance of an undistinguished part of Littlegate Street, providing a sympathetic facelift to an area of vacant sites and aging industrial buildings adjacent to Campion Hall.
Virtual Tour of the new building.
