Oxfordshire stone farmhouse and barn restoration combining heritage architecture with modern design and a glazed timber‑clad link.

A traditional stone farmhouse and barn were sensitively restored and reimagined, unified by a contemporary glazed and timber-clad link.
Set within its rural context, the new intervention was defined by a finely detailed lead roof, bespoke timber shutters with integrated electronic control, and custom-made windows that echoed the original architecture, complemented by elegant frameless glazing throughout.
Floors were finished in carefully selected York stone at ground level, with bespoke Dinesen oak laid to upper floors.
Bespoke joinery by Kingerlee Joinery included wardrobes, shelving and dressing furniture, while the study was enveloped in oak panelling with integrated bookcases and concealed doors.
Custom ironmongery and an uncompromising attention to detail elevated the scheme, seamlessly blending heritage craftsmanship with contemporary design.
