The new farmhouse in Northamptonshire replaces an earlier dwelling and was designed by Francis Terry to sit naturally within the surrounding farmstead and countryside.

Constructed in local ironstone with Bath stone detailing and a slate mansard-style roof, the house draws on Queen Anne and Georgian traditions, with careful proportions and detailing giving it a settled, traditional character.

Inside, the plan is centred on a galleried hall, with generous reception rooms and a large family kitchen arranged for practical day-to-day living and entertaining.

Traditional craftsmanship is combined with modern comfort throughout, resulting in a well-made rural family home.
