Working alongside equestrian specialists, KWA Architects and Archibald Shaw Engineers, Kingerlee delivered a bespoke racehorse rehabilitation centre at Farncomb Down Stables in Lambourn. The scheme comprised four American barn-style stable blocks, together with a manager’s house, staff accommodation, yard office, and dedicated tack and farrier facilities.
Specialist rehabilitation features included an exercise walker, salt and spa unit, and a warm-up barn, supporting the horses’ recovery and conditioning. Situated within a busy equestrian community with immediate access to the gallops, the facility was carefully designed to integrate seamlessly into its setting while enhancing operational performance.
