A multimillion-pound scheme was undertaken to construct a leisure facility on a private estate in Bedfordshire.
The project encompassed a large-span, high-quality concrete frame, external cladding crafted from “burnt” timber, and expansive glazed façades.

Internally, the design featured polished plasters and concrete floors complementing the superstructure’s detailing. The spaces housed a swimming pool, treatment rooms, tennis court, car workshop, exhibition space, and helicopter hangar.

Sustainable elements were integrated, including a green roof, the reuse of excavated materials, and a ground-source heat recovery system. The leisure building was nestled into the ground and thoughtfully landscaped to accommodate a ramped car entrance and a helicopter landing pad.
